FRED NIBLO: A LIFE OF ART AND LOVE
Trailer: Fred Niblo A Life of Art and Love
My 2022 documentary FRED NIBLO: A LIFE OF ART AND LOVE, was blessed with four independent film awards.. This venture rekindled my lifelong dream of making films, which I began as a 12 year- old making Super 8 movies in my backyard.
For the past seven years I have spent time in Los Angeles teaching, filming and learning more about film history. I have produced documentaries about both Fay Wray and George Chakiris, for special in person events; the former with in person guest Victoria Riskin, daughter of the late Ms. Wray.
I have found joy in being able to create celluloid legacies for the families of these legends, especially since the Niblo family was very much involved with my film about their grandfather, Fred Niblo, the famous silent film director. . This mission has continued with my latest film about the Rev. H.K. Rasbach. I hope to continue producing these legacy films, not only for members of the film community, but for all people.
I have currently relocated to Mesa, AZ with my husband Rodney, and dog Clarice. I have a Masters degree from Lancaster Theological Seminary in Lancaster, PA, which served me well in the making of “HOLLYWOOD’S PASTOR The H.K Rasbach Story.”
Director Statement
My vision is to make films exploring life’s complexities and to discover the hopeful light which the complexities often hide.
